“The Digital Pen is the best type of mobile technology we have seen to improve efficiencies in support work. It saves a vast amount of time by recording the information directly to our SPriNT database. The team is very enthusiastic and looking forward to working with the pens. This new technology will allow us to become a more efficient and happier workforce.”
Rhian Stone, Corporate Director, Solas Cymru
“The SPriNT database software has been well received by support workers and we have found that using it has saved us time and therefore improved our service to clients.  Our records are now better organised and reports are easier to produce for commissioners.  We are very happy with the software and feel it was a positive and worthwhile move forward in our work.”

“Stonham have been very pleased with the results since they have been using Sprint.  The staff have found that it is a straightforward database which is simple to learn and teach.  All client information is easy to access and the function that allows any client contact to be recorded means they can communicate important information to colleagues, stakeholders and clients easily. People's time has also been saved by the ability to access the database from home 24 hours a day.”

In March 2009 the Supporting People Team at Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) and SPriNT were the proud recipients of a Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) Excellence Wales award for their Housing Support Gateway.
Tracy Finnis, Senior Housing Support Officer, explains that in 2003 Monmouthshire, like so many Local Authorities, needed to address a number of historical funding and delivery issues.  At that time housing related support services were uncoordinated, data was not being shared, understanding of the roles of different agencies was not effectively communicated and confusion existed as to the range of services available and how to access them.
“Sprint has enabled us to streamline our files and record all information within one software program, which can be remotely accessed. What I have found useful, is the ease that information can be accessed, keeping you up to date with a situation or the progress of a young person.  Sprint is easier to use, as you can follow the progress of young people by a click a button, instead of leafing through reams of paper.”
